"Up to this point in my life, it's been the most positive, life-altering experience I've ever had. The staff made me feel extremely welcome and were there to support me whenever I needed it. I can honestly say I enjoyed myself everyday." - Josh.

Family Therapy - Drug/Alcohol Rehab Programs & Mental Illness Treatment

Psychological disorder and addiction recovery requires a strong support network, which includes friends, peers, professionals, and especially family. We strongly encourage family involvement whenever possible. We offer education, counseling and family therapy to ensure family member's, spouses, loved ones, and siblings have the tools and knowledge necessary to provide support when necessary.

Family is especially important because each member makes up part of this interconnected unit. As such, each member's actions influence the family and affect different interactions. While the rest of the family may adjust to one members drug or alcohol addiction or psychological issue in order to survive, the result is an unhealthy family structure and ongoing emotional strain; as a result, abnormal life becomes the norm. By taking this family systems approach to psychological disorder and drug or alcohol addiction recovery, we work on the family dynamics by observing interactions first-hand rather than hearing about it second-hand.

Our systemic approach seeks to:
  • Increase motivation for therapy
  • Convey the whole-family-message
  • Change family patterns that work against mental illness or drug/alcohol addiction recovery
  • Prepare the family for what to expect in early psychological disorder or drug/alcohol addiction recovery
  • Encourage family member's long-term support
