New
Seasons' Transitional Living program
provides recovering individuals the opportunity
to practice the skills they've learned while
living semi-independently in one of seven
comfortably furnished cottages. The gated
community of adjacent cottages and their shared
living and recreation spaces comprise a secure
and supportive sober living environment.
Whether graduates of our licensed residential
treatment center, or direct admissions
from the community, cottage residents are
expected to maintain sobriety and continue
drug and alcoholism addiction treatment
until they’ve progressed far enough
in their addiction rehabilitation to return
to their homes or other independent living
settings. The transitional living cottages are within easy walking distance of our outpatient building, where residents may participate in a customized blend of individual, group and family alcohol and drug rehab therapy in addition to an array of other outpatient services. Residents who are further along in their addiction recovery are encouraged to participate in vocational or educational pursuits. All substance abuse treatment residents are expected to enlist the support of a local sponsor and participate in daily twelve step meetings.
When not engaged in outpatient alcohol and
drug rehab services or other addiction recovery
activities, cottage residents are free to
explore their culturally and environmentally
rich surroundings. Port Hueneme
beach is a short walk away, and the nearby
communities of Ventura, Ojai and Santa Barbara
present numerous opportunities for activity
and entertainment.
Each of our cottages offers private or
double rooms that are designed to provide
privacy and solitude in a comfortable and
attractive setting. Meal service in our
transitional drug and alcohol rehab center
is available through our adjacent residential
treatment center, which provides fresh,
nutritious meals under the guidance of
a registered dietitian. Housekeeping services
and onsite laundry facilities are available
for residents’ convenience.
